Ramon Hernandez (hand) is expected to receive less playing time than Wilin Rosario after being activated from the disabled list. Troy Renck of the Denver Post writes that it would be "to protect his left hand, if nothing else," but Rosario is simply hitting too well to give up the starting job, as he ranks second on the team to Carlos Gonzalez with his 14 home runs. It also makes a lot more sense for the out-of-contention Rockies to play the younger player. Hernandez is currently on a rehab assignment and is due back soon.
