Ramon Hernandez (hand) expects to return to the starting lineup Tuesday. Hernandez sat out Monday's game with left hand soreness. The injury has been bothering him for a number of weeks and hurts more when he swings than when he catches the ball, but it's apparently not considered serious. The 35-year-old backstop is hitting .279/.296/.529 with four homers, 14 RBI and an .825 OPS across 72 plate appearances this year.
