Quentin started at first base on Saturday against Arizona and went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Saturday marked Quentin's first career start at first base, a position he has been working at in camp this year. Manager Bud Black has given positive reveiws of Quentin's adjustment to the position, saying, "He's acclimated himself very quickly. He's feeling more comfortable, getting a lot of reps in practice," Corey Brock of MLB.com reports. Black did qualify things by saying that they will have to see how things play out moving forward, however. It looks like Quentin's play has upped his chances at making an opening day roster, with the possibility of a trade factoring into the situation.
