Quentin is in the process of retiring, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports. It was a brutally quick fall-off for Quentin, who went from an .855 OPS in 2013 to .599 in 2014 (and both seasons injury-shortened). There clearly wasn't a market for corner outfielders that would have trouble cracking the Mendoza line and reaching even a below-average level on defense, so the 32-year-old could be calling it a career.
