Quentin agreed to a minor league contract with the Mariners on Wednesday, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports. The 32-year-old will report to Triple-A Tacoma after being officially released by the Braves last week. Atlanta designated Quentin for assignment on Opening Day after acquiring him from San Diego in the Craig Kimbrel trade. Quentin posted just a .599 OPS last season and comes with a ton of injury risk, but it's possible he could eventually push for a part-time role at first base with the big club.
