Punto (hamstring) received a cortisone shot for his strained hamstring on Tuesday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. Punto got the shot in an effort to move closer to making a return from an injury to his hamstring that has sidelined him for over a month. He's been progressing well and was able to take batting practice last week, but he's still probably a few days away from rejoining the team.
