Phillies placed RHP Roy Halladay on the 15-day disabled list with a right shoulder injury. The Phillies aren't exactly sure what's wrong with Halladay, but he has an 8.65 ERA in 34 1/3 innings this season and they're done running him out there. The veteran starting pitcher will visit Dr. Lewis Yocum early this week for a full examination of his right arm. He has been experiencing shoulder discomfort since his April 24 start against the Pirates.
