Peralta (illness) is back from his rehab assignment with High-A Palm Beach and will head to Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday as the next step in his recovery, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The change in venue will come with a more "robust" regimen, according to general manager John Mozeliak. Peralta will be progressing to playing the field and hitting in the same game for multiple games with the Redbirds in order to gauge his stamina. The 34-year-old was just 2-for-8 with four strikeouts over his three games at Palm Beach, but he reportedly suffered no setbacks.
