Parra signed a minor league contract with the Cubs on Monday that includes an invitation to spring training, Bruce Miles of the Daily Herald reports.

After three years in Cincinnati, Parra hit free agency again this offseason, and his numbers over the last couple seasons weren't good enough (3.90 ERA, 1.18 WHIP) to earn him another major league deal.
