Parker (elbow) was outrighted to Triple-A Nashville of Friday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
In a series of procedural moves, Oakland sent three pitchers on the 60-day DL down to the minors Friday. Parker missed all of 2016 after undergoing surgery in April to repair his flexor tendon and UCL complex, but he'll now head into the offseason with his sights set on being ready by the start of spring training. The 28-year-old hasn't pitched in the majors since 2013 though, so it's no guarantee he'll make it back to the big leagues right away even if he's healthy.
