Parker (elbow) successfully underwent surgery Wednesday to reconstruct his flexor tendon and UCL complex, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Parker fractured his elbow earlier in the month, but the problem has reportedly been fixed. Now, as Parker has experienced multiple times before, the right-hander will have to go through a lengthy rehab process in order to be ready to pitch again. He'll return to Arizona on Saturday, after which we could see a better timetable for his return.
