Padres optioned OF Jake Goebbert to Triple-A El Paso. The 26-year-old appeared in 22 games during his time with the Padres, slashing .250/.333/.354 with a homer, three RBI and a 16/5 K/BB ratio in 54 at-bats. He'll continue to provide organizational depth in the outfield.
