Outman (shoulder) was placed on the 60-day DL on Monday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Outman struggled throughout camp, and an injury to his throwing shoulder was seemingly the main reason why. He will be out for the first couple months at least with this move, and it's no lock the Braves will actually bring him back onto the active roster once he's healthy. The team reportedly discussed releasing Outman before the injury was found.
