Orioles outrighted C Taylor Teagarden to Triple-A Norfolk. Baltimore kicked Teagarden off the 40-man roster on the first day of the month, deciding instead to employ Chris Snyder and Steve Clevenger as Matt Wieters' backups. The 29-year-old is a career .206/.266/.390 hitter in 518 plate appearances over parts of the last six seasons.
