Nix will replace Christian Colon on the Royals' World Series roster, Andy McCullough of the Kansas City Star reports. Nix, who appeared in the Wild Card Game win over Oakland, was not a member of the ALDS or ALCS roster. The 32-year-old hit just .120/.169/.157 in 41 games between Kansas City and Pittsburgh this season, but he'll replace the 25-year-old Colon as an extra veteran on the World Series roster.
