Nix was not included on the Royals' ALDS roster, Andy McCullough of the Kansas City Star reports. Nix came off the bench during Tuesday's AL Wild Card game, striking out with the winning run at third base in his lone at-bat. The 32-year-old appeared in 41 games between Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Kansas City during the regular season, batting just .120/.169/.157 with one extra-base hit in 91 plate appearances.
