Nieuwenhuis has made four consecutive starts in center field, but managed to collect base hits in each of those four contests to erase an 0-for-12 slump. He'll get a routine day off against a left-handed pitcher Sunday, however, giving way to Keon Broxton in center. Nieuwenhuis only has 13 plate appearances against left-handed pitching this year, so the move makes sense from a matchup standpoint.
