Atlanta Braves outfielder Nick Markakis was 1-for-3 during Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Boston Red Sox. To be fair, at least the 34-year-old had a hit, as he is carrying a paltry .175 average with zero home runs and three RBI through his past 15 games. Markakis, surprisingly enough, was one of the best hitters in baseball during the first half of the season, but really fell into a funk during the end of August.
