Nate Schierholtz continued his early season struggles, going 0-for-4 in Friday's loss to the Reds. Schierholtz, hitting in the cleanup spot in manager Rick Renteria's lineup, also left four runners on base in the contest. He's hitting a paltry .231/.241/.288 with no homers and four RBI in his first 13 games. If the bat doesn't start to heat up soon, he could begin losing playing time to Junior Lake, Justin Ruggiano or Ryan Kalish.
