Murphy was obviously not satisfied playing at the minor league level for the Twins and is now eligible to sign with another major league team. Murphy has a solid MLB track record (career .274 BA and .333 OBP) and at only 34 years old, one has to think he still has a couple good seasons left in the tank. It likely won't be long before the outfielder signs with another MLB team and finds his way into their lineup.
