MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports that the Marlins have finalized their two-year deal with Garrett Jones. An official announcement is expected Monday for the two-year contract, which is believed to be worth $7.5 million. Jones batted just .233/.289/.419 in 440 plate appearances this past season for the Pirates. He's expected to platoon at first base for the Fish.
