Middlebrooks (lower leg) was activated from the disabled list and outrighted to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday.

Middlebrooks has recovered from his lower leg strain, but the Brewers will not add him to the 25-man roster at this time. There is an outside shot he could see action with the big club before the season ends when rosters expand in September.
