Mayberry, who entered the game with seven hits on the season, went 4-for-5 with his second home run of the season Thursday against the Diamondbacks. With Curtis Granderson struggling at the plate, it's possible that Mayberry's big game affords him some additional playing time in the short term, especially against lefties. Mayberry's home run came in the ninth against righty Daniel Hudson, which could prompt manager Terry Collins to roll the dice and go with him Friday.

I thought it was his first two +hit game in two years? Why all the hype over one game.
