Marshall (shoulder) will need multiple throwing sessions before he can begin a rehab assignment, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall hasn't pitched since June 10, 2014. Reds manager Bryan Price was bullish on Marshall's chances at beginning a rehab assignment this season saying, " I don't think he's there yet. I don't think he's to the point where batting practice is to the immediate future. But I do believe because of his situation that if we get to the point where he can go out and face hitters, we'll do that. At this point in time, I don't think he's knocking on the door for that."
