Marlins placed first baseman Joe Mahoney on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 28, with a hamstring injury. This puts the Marlins' top three first basemen -- Logan Morrison, Casey Kotchman and Mahoney -- all on the DL. They'll get by with Greg Dobbs and Chris Valaika at the position until Kotchman is activated.
