Mariners signed RHP Ramon Ramirez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Ramirez made six appearances with the Giants last season before being designated for assignment in July. He eventually latched on with the Rays and made a handful of appearances between High-A Charlotte and Triple-A Durham. The 32-year-old has struggled in the majors over the past two seasons, but he could be in the mix for a bullpen spot in the spring.
