Manager Bruce Bochy said Gillaspie (back) is expected to come off the disabled list sometime before June, Alec Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Gillaspie, who was been on the disabled list since May 11 with back spasms, is nearing a return to the big club after completing five rehab games with Triple-A Sacramento. It's unclear when exactly he'll be activated, though Bochy said it would be sometime during the Giants' next homestand, which runs May 26 to May 31.
