Lincecum is scheduled to throw in a showcase in Phoenix within the next couple weeks, Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Lincecum has been throwing daily lately after undergoing hip surgery in September. The showcase was originally scheduled for mid-January, but has been moved back multiple times. The Padres are reportedly "very active" in their pursuit of the right-hander, but all 30 teams could be present at the showcase, which could complicate matters. His destination will probably become much clearer once he pitches in front of the teams, as they will be able to better assess how well he's healed and how good his arsenal still is.
