Lincecum (hip) will undergo a physical Thursday and will sign with the Angels if he passes, Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports reports.

Lincecum has been working on this deal with the Angels since Monday, but it seems that they've finally got the details of the contract solidified, only leaving the physical to separate the right-hander and professional baseball. If he passes, he'll likely head to the Angels Triple-A affiliate in Salt Lake City to build up some innings and then could get a chance as a starter with the injury-depleted Angels.
