Leonys Martin has been a spark plug at the top of the Detroit Tigers lineup since the calendar turned to May, and on Sunday he turned in his fourth multi-hit performance of the month. Martin had two hits against the Royals, one of which was a double off starting pitcher Jakob Junis in the seventh inning. Martin is now batting .346 over the last seven games as he continues to produce effectively out of the leadoff spot.
