Detroit Tigers outfielder Leonys Martin (hamstring) was placed on the disabled list following the Tigers' victory over the Rangers Tuesday. The veteran outfielder had been off to a nice start to the season and was hitting particularly well through the first part of May, batting .367 with a homer and three RBI over the past seven games.
