Chirinos was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with a left oblique strain, Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic reports.

Considering he'll be eligible to return from the IL with only a couple games remaining in the regular season, it's very possible the veteran catcher has seen his last action of 2021.
