Kyle Farnsworth pitched a scoreless ninth for a save in a two-run game against the Yankees on Monday. Farnsworth walked Derek Jeter to start things and then caught a break on Mark Teixeira's shot to right with one out. Between Teixeira being gimpy and Curtis Granderson getting a perfect bounce off the wall, Teixeira had to be held out at first. Brian McCann came up next and hit a hard shot, but Lucas Duda gloved it and turned it into a double play that wouldn't have materialized had the runner been on second. So, Farnsworth escaped, but he did nothing to inspire much confidence.
