Boston Red Sox right-handed pitcher Kenley Jansen picked up his first save of the season on Thursday, closing out the Detroit Tigers in a 6-3 win. Jansen retired the side in order, getting a groundout and two flyouts to end this one. After a 41-save season in Atlanta last year, the big righty may see a slight reduction in save opportunities on a worse Red Sox team. Still, Jansen is likely to see the majority of the save chances Boston has and should convert at a decent rate.
