Kansas City Royals relief pitcher Justin Grimm (back) was placed on the disabled list on Tuesday. Manager Ned Yost told reporters that Grimm has been dealing with back troubles for a while, and it had messed up his mechanics. Grimm has been hit hard for multiple outings in a row, so the trip to the DL will hopefully give him time to heal and get back on track.
