Jurrjens re-signed with the Rockies on a minor-league contract Friday, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports. The deal includes an invitation to major league camp. Jurrjens has seen his career spiral downward since making the All-Star Game in 2011, bouncing around between four different organizations and posting a cumulative 7.20 ERA over 15 appearances (13 starts) the last three seasons. He made two of those starts with the Rockies last season when injuries decimated the rotation, but did little to suggest that he's close to reemerging as a competent big-league hurler. At this point, he's best utilized as nothing more than a depth starter in the minors for an organization.
