It's an unfortunate outcome for Johnson, who left a rehab appearance Sept. 5 due to discomfort. It's not as difficult to come back from a single Tommy John surgery as it used to be, but returning from a third is uncharted territory. The news will end his 2015 season, and will likely keep him out through 2016 as well.
