Jimenez has cleared through waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Pawtucket on Thursday, Alex Speier of the Boston Globe reports. Jimenez was designated for assignment Monday after the Red Sox activated Shane Victorino (hamstring) from the disabled list. He received just one at-bat in his short time with Boston, and now will provide some organizational depth in the minors.
