Jason Kubel went 0-for-4 on Friday, dropping his average to .231. .231 wouldn't be so bad if he were hitting for his usual power, but Kubel has just three homers and three doubles in 91 at-bats this season after coming through with 30 of each last year. The Diamondbacks will keep playing him against righties and wait for the turnaround, but he's not going to get any starts versus lefties while he struggles.
