Jason Kubel (quad) could be placed on the 15-day DL. Kubel has been out since Tuesday with a left quadriceps injury that is not making swift enough improvement. He underwent an MRI on Saturday afternoon -- the results of which should be available by Saturday night. The Diamondbacks will activate Cody Ross (calf) from the disabled list if they put Kubel on it.
