Jason Kubel out-hit the Marlins by himself on Friday, going 4-for-4 with a run scored in the Diamondbacks 3-0 victory in Miami. On a night when Joe Saunders shutout the Marlins on just three hits, Kubel had four singles of his own and raised his average to .333. He has three homers and nine RBI in the early part of the season, and appears to be settling in nicely in the National League.
