A non-roster invitee to training camp, Janssen posted a 3.00 ERA and 3:0 K:BB over six innings of Cactus League work this spring. He posted sub-2.60 ERAs each year from 2011 to 2013, but the 34-year-old right declined in a major way the past two seasons, with last year's shoulder injury perhaps playing a role. Though he should latch on with another organization soon enough, Janssen probably won't find a big-league job before Opening Day.
