Izturis (groin) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Friday. There was some hope that Izturis, who suffered a groin strain late in spring training, could return by late April. However, that did not come to fruition, and this move ensures he won't be on the field until June at the earliest. Devon Travis will continue to hold the fort at second base.
