Indians recalled LHP Scott Barnes from Triple-A Columbus; placed him on the 60-day disabled list with a left wrist sprain. The move was made in order to clear room on the 40-man roster for the addition of Jason Kubel. Barnes is out for the season but will get a nice little bump in salary.
