In full-on wily veteran mode as he approaches his retirement at the end of the season, Hudson induced eight ground balls and still induced seven swinging strikes on 70 pitches. It's hard to imagine him stretching out much farther, which limits his fantasy value, but he's looked good enough to earn some innings down the stretch for the Giants.
