House's chances of cracking the starting rotation increased Tuesday with the news that starter Gavin Floyd has re-injured his elbow. House was looking to emerge from a crowded pack that includes Danny Salazar, Josh Tomlin, Zach McAllister, Shaun Marcum and Bruce Chen to grab the last spot in the Cleveland rotation but Floyd's injury will open up another spot behind starters Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco and Trevor Bauer in the Cleveland rotation.
