Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle hears that the Giants "like" Reds catcher Ramon Hernandez. No word on if he likes them back. In all seriousness, though the Reds have Ryan Hanigan on the major league roster and Devin Mesoraco and Yasmani Grandal in the minor leagues, it's hard to see why a contending team would be motivated to move him. Schulman also speculates that the Cubs could move Geovany Soto or Koyie Hill, though they aren't in talks with the Giants right now.
