Henderson was placed on the DL Tuesday with right biceps tendinitis.
EDGE Analysis
Henderson was hoping to only miss a few days due to a shoulder impingement he suffered on Saturday but further evaluation has revealed he'll need to spend some time on the DL. He'll likely rest his arm for several days and then throw a series of bullpen sessions, batting practice outings, and simulated games before starting a rehab assignment. If all goes according to plan, the veteran reliever should return to the Mets' bullpen as soon as he's eligible on July 6.
