Haren (7-5) picked up the win Sunday, going six innings allowing one run on five hits and three walks while striking out three batters in an 8-1 victory over the Reds. After a wild first inning which saw Haren give up a double, hit a batter, and then allow an RBI single to Todd Frazier, the 34-year-old bounced back, giving up just three more hits the rest of the way. He has now thrown back-to-back one run games, striking out eight batters in the process and has worked his ERA down to 3.24 with a WHIP of 1.07.
