If all goes well, Hardy could be reinstated from the 60-day DL ahead of Friday's game in Cleveland. The shortstop has been out since mid-June with a fractured right wrist, but has experienced some elbow discomfort following a rehab assignment. Upon his return, it's likely that Hardy will settle into a bench role behind Time Beckham.
